Spindle Spinning Workshops
Join small group of like minded people for our 2 hour taster workshops in the heart of Norwich or online.
Explore the basics of spinning your own yarn on a drop spindle.
Be guided though
- How to hold fibre and spindle
- How twisting fibre works to create yarn
- What makes wool such a good fibre to spin
- Connect with others and with the textile heritage of Norwich.

No experience necessary and all materials provided. If you would like to purchase a spindle or fibre kit to take home these will be available on the day.

Rolags Spindle Spinning Workshops
Following on from the Beginners workshop this 2 hour session will explore the world of rolags.

- How to make them using wool and blended materials
- Why you might want to make them
- How to spin fluffy yarns successfully from rolags
​
No experience necessary though this is designed to follow on from the beginners workshop, all materials provided. If you would like to purchase a spindle or fibre kit to take home these will be available on the day.
